11+ Entrance Exam Preparation
Preparing thoroughly for selective entrance exams to grammar schools is essential for success. We focus on strengthening key skills in English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning through targeted practice, tailored lessons, and proven exam strategies.
To give children the best chance of scoring highly and feeling confident on exam day, preparation ideally begins at least 12 months in advance. Starting early allows for steady progress, in-depth understanding, and plenty of time to build exam technique. For some pupils, beginning even earlier can provide additional support to address gaps and develop core skills with ease.
KS1 - Years 1 & 2
Starting formal education is a big step for young children, and the expectations can feel overwhelming. Many pupils are expected to master reading, writing, and maths skills quickly—and some may begin to fall behind before they’ve had time to settle.

KS2 - Years 3-6
